LEANDRO CHEMAN is a Mozambican designer based in Portugal whose work reflects cultural heritage through contemporary garment construction. DRAWING from personal experience, craftsmanship, mundane objects, and everyday gestures, the brand develops a dialogue between tailoring, utility, movement, visual, and performative arts.
HAVING left Mozambique at a young age, he became aware of the lack of representation of his cultural perspective, which led him to create a label that reinterprets Mozambican artistry within a contemporary context.
